Manon Rheaume is a trailblazer for female hockey players!
She was the first female hockey player to play on boy’s peewee and men’s junior hockey leagues. She was also the first woman to tryout for a NHL team and to play in the IHL (minor league farm system for the NHL).
Her dream was just to play hockey because she was passionate about playing.
She is an inspiration and reminder to live out your passions and desires, and love the process and the journey.
